“We covenant to become an authentic family by loving one another as Christ loves us, praying for one another, speaking truth to one another in love, being patient with one another, protecting one another, considering one another as more important than ourselves.”

“There is in fact only one religion in which the idea of community is an integral element of its nature,” wrote Dietrich Bonhoeffer, “and that is Christianity.”  Bonhoeffer was correct.  The church should be community at its best:  loving, patient, kind, long-suffering, peaceful, and united.

In John 17:21, Jesus prayed “that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Our heart’s desire as a church is that we honor Christ’s prayer.  Central strives to be an authentic family in every sense of the word.  Some of the ministries that exist to cultivate authentic family here at Central include:
