Awana is a Christian Club that teaches Biblical truths with an emphasis on Scripture memorization. The goal of Awana is “to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.” This is done through a structured, creative and fun program.

Wednesday Evenings at 6:00-7:30 (August-May)

Cost:
$12 per semester or
$20 per year per child

Annual dues cover handbook, awards and supplies.
Uniform vests, shirts and book bags are available for purchase at an additional cost.

Limited scholarships are available.

Children’s Church is offered to 4 year old & Kindergarten children during our Sunday morning service at 10:30. While older children and adults are participating in family worship in the sanctuary or attending Sunday School classes, our Children’s Church leaders are engaging children in their own time of worship!

Sound Bible teaching is offered in a variety of themes ranging from “Spy Chase,” “Upside Down Town,” to “Undersea Adventure.” “Elevate Jr.” curriculum themes change every 8 weeks and are sure to take your children on a fun journey of Biblical learning. Through a multi-media presentation, children participate in age-appropriate activities, games and music that teach and reinforce the weekly lesson. Snacks are offered, so please advise if your child has any allergies or special dietary needs.

Our fun-filled week is dependent on our over 100 volunteers who invest in the lives of our kids!

Our VBS Family Night will be a “Back To School” Night

Our Grill Team will provide Hot Dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks. Sno-cones and inflatables will guarantee a fun night for all!
Activities will take place outside, but the fellowship hall will be open for senior adults who would like to attend and fellowship.
Invite your friends and bring your lawn chairs!

Join us for our Trunk or Treat on October 31. We will have FREE Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Games, Prizes and LOTS of Candy!!! For families with Babies-6th Grade children. This is a “Family Friendly” Event–no scary costumes, please!

Our (completed) 3rd-6th Graders are encouraged to join us for a life changing experience at Bogg Springs Baptist Camp in Wickes, AR.

Every Mother’s Day we recognize families with babies born since the previous Mother’s Day, as well as families with young children who have not previously participated, but would like to. CBC is blessed with an abundance of young families, it is not unusual to have 15 babies (or more) at this service!
