Disciple Now Weekend/Guest Speaker: Brady Weldon / Aug. 8,9 & 10 / Grades 7-12 / This will be a spectacular weekend of learning about God. Disciple Now is a time of Bible Study, Sharing, Fellowship, Recreation, Ministry, Good Food, and Fun. This retreat-like event will take place in the homes of our own members. Disciple Now is a learning experience that could very well change a like. Beginning on Friday evening the students will stay in sponsor housing throughout the weekend. Each house will have its own guest speaker then getting together as a group for the main sessions and worship. Disciple Now will end immediately following Sunday morning service.
Student Camp In Panama City, Fl / July 7-11 / A resort located in Panama City, Fla for Christian group's and families. This facility is located on the Gulf of Mexico. This is a quiet, uncrowded area of the beach which helps to provide the proper spiritual climate for ministry. 8 acres of private grounds / swimming pools / Volleyball & basketball (beach & court) / air-conditioning / we are taking our own cooks for the week / cost is $300.00 for the week / includes: charter bus,accommodations and meals.
Student Summer Mission Trip / June 16-20 / Christian Activity Center of East St. Louis / A non-profit faith-based ministry in the heart of East St. Louis / CAC is one of the largest and most successful youth service providers in southern Illinois. Our students will help with things around the center in the morning and be hands-on with the children in the afternoon. This will be a great opportunity for them to minister to these kids and share God's word and His love with them. The amount of $75.00 is due June 1.
